Day 3 - Already??

Sorry it has taken so long to post an update! Things have been super crazy with days starting at 6 a.m. and ending after midnight. Also, internet is sort of hard to find in the middle of the mountains. There are bears here...

Things are going sooooo well...! All the students are having a great time and are really opening up about things going on in their hearts and lives. Here are just a couple of cool stories...

On the first day we visited a nursing home. We ran into an amazing woman of God named Ms. Eunice who I believe is a prophet. She encouraged us all so much and actually began telling different ones of us, students and chaperones, the different plans God has for our lives. Amazing!

Yesterday, we hung out with little children. It was a more dark mission field than the nursing home as we were not allowed to mention the name of Jesus. Our hearts went out for those kids and tried as hard as we could to show them the love of Christ through our actions. It definitely opened all of our eyes.

So far, two students have accepted Christ! AWESOME!!!!! There are also a couple of other students who are on the verge and so close to giving their whole lives over to Him. Pray that this is the week!

That's all for now. Everyone has the attitude of a servant.

Word of the Day: SACRIFICE

See you guys soon! Until then... keep livin' the dream!

PRAYER REQUESTS:
Pray for the students who accepted Christ and that their families would be open to it when they tell them.
Pray that we would all understand what it means to sacrifice in our walks with God.
Pray for good attitudes that are like Christ Jesus.
Pray that a Starbucks magically appears at Ridgecrest.
Pray for broken hearts and changed lives ALL in the name of Jesus Christ and through the cross.

X-FUGE - Getting Ready

Here are some ways that you can be praying for our student ministry as we prepare to leave for X-FUGE...

- Pray that walls will be torn down. Man, we all have so many walls up to keep our lives safe and comfortable. What would happen if we let God tear down the walls and have His way with us?

- Pray for salvation. Only God is mighty to save. If He doesn't do it, it won't get done. We MUST pray!

- Pray for brokenness. Nothing will happen in our youth group until we are broken. Pray that we would literally learn how to fall on our faces before God.

- Pray for the people that we will encounter while there. Pray that our witness will bring many people to salvation in Jesus Christ.

- Pray for the chaperones. God not only wants to use them, but God wants to mold them as well! Pray the chaperones will get a word from God for their lives. Pray for them by name:
